Booking, Pricing & Policies
How do I book a yacht with Epic Yachts?
Choose your yacht, message us on WhatsApp with date/time/guest count, share any add-ons (catering, décor, jet ski), then confirm and pay to secure your slot. You’ll receive a full booking confirmation with meeting point details.
What’s included in the hourly rate?
A licensed captain and crew, fuel for the standard route, ice, bottled water, soft drinks, and a high-quality music system are included. (Premium add-ons like catering, DJ, décor, and watersports can be added.)
How much does a private yacht rental in Dubai cost?
Your total depends on yacht size and guest count. Our fleet starts from small boats around AED 288/hour and goes up to large superyachts around AED 8,625/hour, so there’s a perfect option for every budget.
How far in advance should I reserve?
Weekends, sunsets, and holidays (e.g., New Year’s Eve) fill up fast; book as early as you can. Same-day charters are sometimes possible if the yacht and crew are available.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Policies can vary slightly by yacht/package. As a guide, our Terms & Conditions outline a tiered policy (e.g., full refund beyond a stated window) and rescheduling for bad weather; your confirmation shows the exact terms for your booking.
How do I pay?
We accept major cards, bank transfer, and other approved methods. Full payment confirms your booking and locks the schedule.
Is a security deposit required?
Most standard private charters don’t require a separate security deposit; if any special arrangements need one (e.g., certain event setups), you’ll see it clearly on your invoice. (Check your confirmation.)
Can I change my charter time or date after booking?
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes based on yacht availability; fees or fare differences may apply per your confirmation terms. Weather-related changes can be rescheduled.
Do you offer discounts for longer charters or weekdays?
Yes—multi-hour and off-peak bookings often qualify for better per-hour value. Tell us your plan and we’ll tailor the best quote from our fleet range.
What documents do guests need to bring?
Please bring valid ID (Emirates ID or passport). It helps with marina access and smooth boarding.

Routes, Sights & Experiences
Where do charters depart from?
Most trips depart from Dubai Marina; some routes may use Dubai Harbour depending on the yacht and plan. Your confirmation includes the exact meeting point.
Which landmarks will we see?
Typical routes showcase Dubai Marina & Harbour, Bluewaters & Ain Dubai, JBR, Palm Jumeirah & Atlantis, and—on longer bookings—Burj Al Arab.
What’s the best duration for sightseeing?
For Marina–Bluewaters–JBR, 2 hours works well. Add Palm/Atlantis with 3–4 hours. To include Burj Al Arab, plan 4–5+ hours for relaxed cruising and photo stops. (Your captain will optimize based on conditions.)
Do you offer sunset or night cruises?
Yes—sunset and evening skyline charters are guest favorites, especially for proposals, anniversaries, and corporate hosting.
Can we anchor and swim during the charter?
Swimming is allowed at captain-approved spots and conditions (usually daylight, calm areas). Safety briefings and life jackets are provided where required.
Do you arrange sightseeing trips?
Yes—sightseeing tours with licensed crew can be booked with us.
Can we customize the route?
Within safety and maritime rules, yes. Tell us your wish-list (e.g., more time near Atlantis or a Burj Al Arab photo stop), and we’ll tailor the cruise.
What are the best months to rent a yacht in Dubai?
Dubai charters run year-round; many guests prefer Oct–Apr for cooler weather and extra-clear sunsets. Summer cruises are great in the early morning or after sunset. (We’ll advise ideal times for your date.)
Do you offer shared cruises or only private?
We specialize in private charters (boat exclusively for your group) across boats, yachts, and event vessels—perfect for birthdays, proposals, or corporate hospitality.
Is a dhow cruise different from a yacht charter?
Yes—dhow cruises are traditional wooden boats typically with buffet dining on fixed routes, while yacht charters are private, modern vessels with flexible itineraries and add-ons. We offer both if you want variety.
Food, Drinks & Add-Ons
Can we bring alcohol on board?
Alcohol policies vary by yacht/package and must comply with UAE law; guests must be 21+ and behave responsibly. Ask us about your vessel’s allowance and storage before charter day.
Do you provide catering or BBQ?
Yes—everything from light bites to premium buffets and live BBQ can be arranged (including halal/veg options). Share your preferences when booking.
Can you arrange a birthday or proposal setup?

Is a DJ, saxophonist, or entertainer possible?
Yes—DJs, sax, and live performers are popular for parties and corporate events. We’ll coordinate power, space, and set times with the crew.
Do you offer jet ski or Seabob add-ons?
Yes—third-party jetski/Seabob can be added in many cases, subject to age/ID rules and captain approval for safe hand-off zones. We’ll guide you on the best option for your route.
Can we bring songs to play?
Yes, you can bring a pen drive with songs to play on your private charter.
Are decorations allowed?
Yes—non-marking décor (balloons, banners, table décor) is welcome. We’ll advise on what’s safe for rails, ceilings, and deck surfaces; the crew must keep access ways clear.
Do you have limo or transfer service to the marina?
Yes—add private transfers from hotel/home to Dubai Marina/Harbour so your group arrives together and stress-free.
Can you handle corporate branding?
We can arrange step-and-repeat backdrops, logo signage, gift bags, and event photography to align with your brand guidelines.

Safety, Rules & Local Regulations
Are your yachts licensed and insured?
Yes—our yachts operate with licensed captains/crew and are fully insured, following UAE maritime regulations at all times.
Is it safe to rent a yacht in Dubai?
Dubai has strong maritime oversight and safety standards; we maintain equipment (life jackets, first-aid, etc.) and brief guests before departure. Follow crew instructions for a smooth, safe trip.
What are the basic safety rules we should know?
Listen to the crew briefing, keep decks clear, no jumping while the yacht is moving, no leaning beyond rails, and use life jackets when advised (especially with children or in choppy water). Charters may be adjusted for weather.
Can we swim after dark?
Swimming is generally daylight only and only at captain-approved locations when conditions are calm. Safety comes first.
Are there speed limits or restricted zones?
Yes—Dubai enforces low speeds inside marinas/near beaches and specific limits in certain waterways, with higher speeds offshore when safe. Your captain handles compliance.
Are shoes allowed on the yacht?
Shoes are not allowed on the yacht. We provide soft, clean deck shoes for use during your stay.
Is alcohol consumption always permitted?
Only for adults 21+, and strictly within UAE law and your yacht’s policy. Disorderly behavior or illegal substances are prohibited and can end the charter without refund.
What happens in bad weather?
If the captain deems conditions unsafe, we’ll reschedule or offer a refund per your booking terms—your safety is the top priority.
Do you allow drones?
Possible with prior approval and compliance with local rules. Tell us in advance so we can advise on permits and launch/landing safety on your yacht.
How do you handle last-minute guest increases?
We must stay within the yacht’s licensed capacity—no exceptions. If your group grows, we’ll suggest a larger vessel or an additional boat to keep everyone safe and compliant.
